| Project Description | An independent online platform that encourages citizens to identify the promises candidates make while campaigning, post them on a platform, discuss their feasibility and inquire about their costs. After elections the users will be able to follow online how/if the elected officials are keeping their promises. The organizations supporting the platform will encourage and offer tools for users to mobilize organize and react offline in order to hold their representatives accountable. Based on the platform’s development, we intend to organize a public forum discussing the pro’s and con’s of the potential of online activism to generate change offline, thus sharing knowledge to other potential social changers. |
