The goal of the project is to bring back women’s history to public memory through making the knowledge of women’s emancipation in Krakow more popular.
Its objectives are:
- to prepare a coherent concept of the board game: the concept has to refer to the idea of cooperation, common aims and women’s diversity. It cannot build up differences between women and men but needs to mirror the situation of women in education, work and politics at those times. The game needs to be tested and adapted to experts’ opinions, in order to make sure the game is interesting, the mechanic of the game is optimal and the game itself can develop as innovative educational means. The game will be also consulted with expert-historian who would advise on how to be the most compliant with historical and in the same time emancipatory potential;
- to produce the game: the game will be produced (graphics, the board, cards etc.) and assembled in cooperation with graphics and testing experts;
- to promote the game among teachers, students, pupils, cultural organizations in Krakow and in other regions of Poland: after the game preparation, the applicant will run exemplary lessons during workshops regularly run for teachers and educators and distribute the game among all interested.
