 The goal of the project is to increase civic engagement and effective public participation in environmental decision-making

Its objectives are:

• To improve environmental law enforcement and monitoring on local and national level through the direct involvement of at least 12-15 NGOs and indirectly the two main green coalitions;
• To initiate environmental policy analysis and dialogue between NGOs and local and national decision makers;
• To raise awareness and to step up against at least 3-5 environmentally destructive development and infrastructure projects through NGO and public involvement;
• To improve networking and coalition-building so as to get more NGOs active and encouraged in advocacy and watchdog activities;
•  To organize campaigns and activities for raising public awareness and to involve broader constituencies in advocacy work;
•  Building capacities and carrying out litigation for the above purposes.
