The goal of the project is to create a supportive legal environment for individual donors, thus increasing the overall philanthropy in Romania. The objectives are: 

•  Increase the knowledge about individuals’ philanthropy, especially within NGO and corporate sectors as main vehicles to reach citizens, by producing a comparative white paper regarding the legal environment regulating individual donations in Romania and in other countries;
•  Create “The Coalition for Better Philanthropy” that will elaborate a draft law (or, if more appropriate, pieces to be changed/added in an already existing law – such as the Sponsorship Law) which will include fiscal incentives for individual donations;
•  Promote and support the adoption of the law.
