The goal of the project is to strengthen the voluntary nonprofit sector through capacity building, advocacy, intra sector and cross-sector cooperation and partnership in the frame of the VOLUM Federation. The project’s objectives are:

• to build capacity of member organizations of VOLUM Federation through tailored training and consultancy based on intra sector cooperation by engaging the expertise within the network;
• to identify companies engaged in supporting volunteering interested in becoming partners of VOLUM Federation and stimulate cross sector cooperation by facilitating the partnership between the trained member organizations and the identified partner companies of VOLUM Federation;
•   to advocate for the creation of a national strategy for the support and development of volunteerism in Romania and for gaining support of public authorities for the created strategy in the frame of the European Year of Volunteering 2011.
