| Project Description | Open Society Fund supports watchdog and advocacy activities in the Czech Republic since 1999. According to the research commissioned by the Fund last year, the following tasks should be carried out for improving the functioning of Czech watchdogs: • strengthening awareness of watchdog agenda, activities and results toward wide public; • establishing a Watchdog Fund under the OSF Prague; public relations activity aiming to increase individual and corporate donorship; • strengthening the existing networks of watchdogs in close cooperation with our partner organizations Čmelák and Oživení in order to share the know-how and best practices (through an active web forum) and increase efficiency |
