| Project Description | The project aims to strengthen the rule of law and human rights protection in Poland through involvement of business entities, civil society groups and individuals in strategic litigation. The grantee also intends to obtain a complete financial independence of the Strategic Litigation Program in a way to establish a permanent, stable and safe-finance institution. The program supports all major human rights cases in Poland. It coordinates cases concerning such matters as freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, personal liberty, right to court, access to legal aid, rights of prisoners, or workers rights. The program not only attains important and standard setting judgments, but also show-cases problems and stimulates public discussion. |
