| Project Description | The main goal of the project is improvement of quality and ethics of the Slovak media. The project will provide regular feedback on media work, encourage critical thinking and real public debate about Slovak media, and will educate young media experts. It will increase media capacity to practice investigative journalism, and thus strengthen their controlling function. The grantee hopes this project will improve accountability of public institutions, and will increase pressure to solve some of the crucial problems of public governance. Activities within the project include: media monitoring and publishing comments on media work, preparing investigative articles and reports, providing lectures and internships for journalism students. |
