| Project Description | The project aims at strengthening the watchdog role of media and promoting high standards in journalism by investigative reports on tracking corruption. It will seek to achieve the overall goal through the following objectives: • to provide journalists with reporting grants to produce investigative stories • to offer information and consultancy on the current trends and good practices in investigative journalism • to analyze the status of media and the impact of the financial crisis on investigative reporting • to assist Hungarian journalists to establish and develop cooperation with investigative journalism centers and networks from other countries and regions • to offer continuous legal and professional assistance to investigative reporters in collaboration with specialized NGOs |
