The activities proposed under the present project address the problems and needs identified. They aim at mobilizing citizens’ participation in a grassroots neighbourhood community convinced that the living environment could be improved by their own efforts and in constructive dialogue and collaboration with the municipal authorities. The project aims at solving the identified problems by achieving the following two main goals:

1. To mobilize the community in the neighbourhood of Konstantin Irechek St. in Sofia for better living environment and to stimulate the establishment of a grassroots neighbourhood organization;
2. To disseminate the good practice to the other neighbourhoods in Krasno Selo region of Stolichna Municipality, and to the civil society in general.
