| Project Description | The grant is designed to improve the standards of human rights protection in the Vysehrad Coutries. The idea sprang from the propositions contained in the Treaty reforming the EU, which confronted the European Union and its Member States with a number of fundamental problems of legal and political nature. Specific problems in this context appear in Poland – the proposals of the strengthening of the fundamental rights protection included in the EU Reform Treaty assumed to bring about the strengthening of the fundamental rights protection and the principle of the law-governed state, give rise to a populist campaigns. The objective in NIPMiE’s project is do research on the role of the Charter of Fundamental Rights for the strengthening of the status of the individual in the EU and for the strengthening of the European system of the human rights protection. |
