Bulgarian Interior Ministry Launches Pilot Training in Human Rights

 

Bulgarian Interior Ministry has launched pilot training in human rights in order to set up a training network about non-discriminatory behavior in police activities, it announced.

The European police and human rights project kicked off in September 2011. It is implemented under the European Commission’s program Prevention and Fight with Crime.

It will be underway for 18 months and is carried out in partnership between Guard Police DG, Interior Ministry’s Academy and Bulgarian Helsinki Committee, Psychology Institute, Commission for Discrimination Protection , Center for Study of Democracy, Belgian federal police, German police and Polish Police.
