The Open Society Foundations' Early Childhood Program (ECP) is announcing a call for proposals from NGOs based in Central and Eastern Europe and
(a) Early Childhood Intervention theme - developing early childhood intervention services to support infants and young children, birth to age three, who are at risk of or diagnosed with a developmental delay or disability;
Or
(b) Mainstream-special school collaboration theme - promoting collaboration between mainstream (general) and special educators, kindergartens or schools to provide meaningful, high quality developmental and educational support for children with disabilities aged 3 to 10 years in inclusive mainstream settings.
The projects will be selected through the following three-step process:
1st applicants interested in responding to this call are invited to complete a brief questionnaire to be submitted by October 19th, 2011, addressed to Olena Vinareva (Olena.Vinareva@osf-eu.org<mailto:Olena.Vinareva@osf-eu.org> ).
2nd Based on responses to the questionnaire, a select number of applicants will be invited to present their detailed proposal with budget and work plan of planned activities, due with the ECP by November 20, 2011. They will participate in a mandatory three-day workshop and site visits to be held in
