What do we need the Solecki Fund Law for? , seminar, February 17th, 2010

The Association of Leaders of Local Civic Groups invites everyone who is interested in discussing the role, importance and possible vulnerabilities of the new Solecki Fund Law to take part in the seminar What do we need the Solecki Fund Law for?.  The seminar is a part of the Civic Money. Participation in budgeting on the Local Level project.

 

The speakers will be discussing in two panels, entitled:  Solecki Fund law – different perspectives and Solecki Fund and local activity.

 

The seminar is the beginning  of a broader debate on Solecki Fund as a mechanism of civic participation, and will be followed by two seminars planned for 2010, which are entitled:

 

·         Solecki Fund and Participatory Budgeting (June 2010)

·         Civic Activity in the context of decision making on public money (Autumn 2010)

 

The venue for the event will be Stefan Batory Foundation, ul. Sapieżyńska 10a, Warszawa (Jerzy Turowicz lecture hall)
