The International Center for Not-for-Profit Law is pleased to announce the third issue of our publication, Global Trends in NGO Law: Barred from the Debate: Restrictions on NGO Public Policy Activities.

In our third issue we address recently proposed or enacted legislation affecting civil society that infringes on freedom of expression: 

·         Laws that directly restrict public policy activities of NGOs,

·         Provisions of NGO laws that have a chilling effect on free expression, and

·          Laws of general applicability that may chill freedom of expression and how they affect civil society’s ability to participate in public debate.
